Single user licenses for the Cocktail Toolbox are available for the platforms Linux and Microsoft Windows (9x, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista) via Electronic Software Distribution (ESD).
For license control a system named WIBU-KEY is used (www.wibu.com). The license key is a USB plug called WIBU-BOX/U. A computer with USB connectors is needed for running this distribution of Cocktail.
Instructions for Windows
- Order a license key for a single user license from CoCoLab. The license key will be shipped to you by mail.
- When you receive the license key plug it into a USB connector of your computer.
- Download Cocktail for Windows.
- Install Cocktail for Windows by running the self-extracting archive - follow the instructions.
- Download manuals and documentation of the Cocktail Toolbox from the Documentation page.
- Download a WIBU-KEY Runtime Kit for Windows from the download section of www.wibu.com, for example the file WkRuntime.exe.
- Install the WIBU-KEY Runtime Kit by running the self-extracting archive - follow the instructions. There is no need to install the network server and the network monitor components.
- The file README.TXT in the installation directory contains basic hints on how to use Cocktail.
Instructions for Linux

- Install the WIBU-KEY Runtime Kit as root using a command such as
